These terms are between you and [legal name] ("we"). By using Pipstep you agree to them. The App Store's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app; if the two disagree about the app licence, Apple's agreement wins.

1. Look after yourself

Pipstep is a walking and running coach, not a medical device, and it does not give medical advice. Check with your doctor before starting a new exercise programme, especially if you are pregnant, have a heart, lung or joint condition, or haven't been active for a long time. Stop and get help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. Lessons are only a suggestion: you decide how fast and how far to go.

Stay aware of traffic and your surroundings. Keep your music and the coach at a volume that lets you hear what's around you, and follow local laws. Heart rate, distance and pace come from your devices' sensors and can be wrong.

2. Using the app

The whole path is free. You can use it without an account. We may add, change or remove lessons and features over time, usually through course updates.

3. Friends features and your account

• Signing in is optional. Keep your sign-in method safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Be kind. Don't harass anyone, impersonate someone, use a hateful or offensive display name, or try to cheat leagues and challenges.
• You can block and report people in the app. We may remove names, hide content or close accounts that break these rules.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Community → Delete account.

4. Pipstep Plus

Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold by Apple. The price, period and any free trial are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. If Plus ends, the whole path stays free and the Plus outfits Pip already wears stay yours.

5. Our content

The app, Pip, the lessons and the coach's words belong to us. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app except where the law allows it.

6. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Pipstep running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. [Limitation of liability wording to be written by a lawyer for the relevant countries; consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law stay unaffected.]

7. Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. You can stop using Pipstep at any time by deleting the app (and, if you have one, your account).
